Field underwriting is industry shorthand. We don’t actually underwrite. What we do is confirm the group fits the carrier’s guidelines before anything is submitted, then audit the installation paperwork line by line. That’s where re-quotes, compliance issues, and last-minute delays usually start — and where most of them get stopped.
